A Muscovite woman who gave birth in an inflatable pool was arrested for two months
The Savelovsky District Court of Moscow has arrested Natalia Kotlar, who gave birth to a girl in an inflatable pool in a Moscow apartment, for two months. This was reported on December 18 by a correspondent of Izvestia.
Speaking in court, the woman stated that she had no malicious intent, and promised to assist the investigation.
Earlier, on December 17, a criminal case was opened in Moscow over the death of a newborn baby in an inflatable pool. The Investigative Committee noted that the investigation had ordered the necessary forensic examinations, including forensic medical ones. Other circumstances of the incident are being established.
On December 14, it was reported that a newborn baby in Moscow died an hour after being born in an inflatable pool. It was clarified that the incident occurred on Polina Osipenko Street, where a 27-year-old woman went into spontaneous labor. The baby spent about 30 minutes in the water, and about an hour after birth stopped breathing.
