Axios announced that Kiev has sent a response to Trump's draft peace plan.
Ukraine has handed over to the US administration a revised version of the peace plan to resolve the conflict. This was announced on December 10 by Axios journalist Barak Ravid, citing Ukrainian and American sources.
"Ukraine on Wednesday presented the administration of [US President Donald] Trump's response to the latest draft of the US peace plan," Ravid wrote on the social network X.
As he noted, Ukrainian and American officials told him about this.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that Ukraine could join the European Union as early as 2027. The package of documents for negotiations includes a peace plan, security guarantees and an economic recovery plan. The United States will offer security guarantees similar to NATO's fifth article and a demilitarized zone along the ceasefire line.
