Temporary flight restrictions have been lifted at Domodedovo Airport

Aircraft acceptance and release have resumed at Domodedovo Airport near Moscow, and previously imposed restrictions have been lifted. This was announced on December 9 by Artem Korenyako, a representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency, in his Telegram channel.

At the same time, restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft at Zhukovsky Airport have been lifted.

These measures were introduced to ensure flight safety. This is a priority for aircraft crew, air traffic controllers and airport services, Korenyako noted.

Restrictions at Domodedovo Airport were introduced earlier on Tuesday. The airport has adjusted its flight schedule due to restrictions on the use of airspace.

On the same day, it was reported that restrictive measures had been introduced at Sheremetyevo Airport. As a result, the flight schedule was adjusted and approval for the departure of flights was established. 16 flights were canceled at the airport, and 14 more planes went to alternate airfields.
