- The United States pointed to Russia's advantages on the battlefield in the special operation zone
Russia has an advantage on the battlefield in the conflict in Ukraine, Kiev "looks quite weak." This was reported on December 7 by the American newspaper The New York Times.
"In recent weeks, Russian troops have been advancing on several fronts. <...> They are approaching the northeastern city of Kupyansk and are making progress in the area of the eastern city of Seversk, judging by combat maps, analysts and soldiers," the article says.
According to the newspaper, Russia's pace is accelerating, as the Russian Federation has clear advantages.
"Ukraine's future looks very, very bleak," said military analyst Emile Castehelmi.
According to the author of the article, the Ukrainian army still has enough resources to keep the front line from collapsing, but "it is buckling."
On December 5, Politico newspaper called the personnel of the Russian Armed Forces an advantage in the liberation of territories. It was noted that the Ukrainian fighters, as opposed to the Russian ones, are experiencing serious difficulties at the front. Their positions are dispersed, and in many places they can hardly contain the onslaught.
