It is now possible to issue a pensioner's certificate at Gosuslugi

Russians who have retired can apply for an electronic certificate through a special "Retirement" section on the Gosuslugi portal. This was announced on December 2 in the office of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko.

The digital document allows you to confirm the status of a pensioner in order to receive benefits, including discounts in pharmacies and museums.

"Today, older people actively use online services. Now the functionality of the [life situation] has been expanded and allows you to issue an electronic certificate," Grigorenko stressed.

It is noted that more than 500 thousand people have used the Retirement service since its launch in 2024. The new functionality is part of a program to digitalize public services and simplify their access for older citizens.

It's hard: the gap between the pensions of the employed and the unemployed has reached a minimum since 2021.

The introduction of electronic pension certificates in Russia was announced on November 19. The Social Fund indicated that the document will appear in the personal account on Gosuslugi without the need to submit an application. At the same time, a plastic version of the certificate can be issued at the branches of the fund or the MFC, if necessary.
