Dmitry Patrushev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, said during a discussion of the preliminary results of the harvesting campaign on December 2 that the grain harvest in 2025 would be one of the most significant in recent history.

"We expect very decent fees. Thus, the volume of grain in bunker weight currently exceeds 145 million tons. It is clear that due to the weather, there may be quite a significant refaction. However, it is safe to say that the grain harvest of 2025 will be one of the most significant in recent history. About 20 million hectares have been sown with winter crops for next year's harvest. This corresponds to the forecast figures," he said.

Patrushev added that the government retains comprehensive support for the agro-industrial complex. Thus, more than 600 billion rubles were allocated for the implementation of sectoral state programs in 2025, of which over 100 billion were allocated for direct subsidies to farmers. A comparable amount of direct subsidies is planned for next year, the Deputy Prime Minister added.

On November 12, Patrushev said that in Russia, for the balanced operation of the agro-industrial complex, a comprehensive system of state support has been built, aimed at developing production, science, logistics, technical and technological capabilities of the industry.
