The day before the Afghan migrant attacked National Guard officers at the White House, American law enforcement officers detained another native of this country who threatened to set off an explosion in Fort Ware, Texas. This was announced on November 29 by assistant to the head of the US Interior Ministry Tricia McLachlin on the social network X (Former. Twitter).

"The day before the terrorist attack against our National Guard soldiers, another Afghan national was arrested after threatening to blow up a building in Fort Worth," the statement said.

It is noted that the man posted a video on the Internet on which he prepares an explosive device. The target of the attack was an unnamed object in the area of the city.

Like the perpetrator of the shooting at the White House, the detainee also arrived in the country during the presidency of the 46th President of the United States Joe Biden.

"He was arrested on Tuesday by the Texas Department of Public Safety and charged with making terrorist threats," McLachlin added.

Earlier, on November 26, two National Guard officers were shot at near the White House in the United States. Later, one of the victims was reported dead, while the second wounded man continues to fight for his life. It was established that the attacker was an Afghan citizen who arrived in the United States in 2021 during Biden's presidential term.

In this regard, on November 27, US President Donald Trump made a statement that many Afghan citizens entered the country without the necessary checks. He noted that when it comes to asylum seekers, their removal is a significant difficulty, but now the authorities plan to expel all such persons. The politician also promised to stop migration to the United States from "third world countries."

The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump intends to implement a large-scale "reverse migration" program, and instructed the Department of Homeland Security to expand the list of high-risk countries and tighten control over all migration procedures after the shooting in Washington.
