Chairman of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia Alexander Bastrykin instructed to open a criminal case against one of the major Russian developers A101 in connection with the violation of the rights of shareholders in the city of Vsevolozhsk, Leningrad region. This was reported on November 29 in the Information Center of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

"Citizens have purchased apartments in buildings under construction, but the deadline for their commissioning, set for September this year, has been repeatedly postponed. Shareholders are forced to live in rented housing, which is financially difficult for them," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

The developer, through the developer M11, is building the A101 Vsevolozhsk quarter in this city, notes "Газета.Ru ".

The execution of the order has been put under control at the central office of the department.

On August 21, the Investigative Committee of Russia announced that criminal cases had been opened in St. Petersburg on the facts of fraudulent actions during the construction of two residential complexes (LCCs) under equity participation agreements. According to investigators, the construction companies received money from the shareholders of the two residential complexes, but did not put the houses into operation on time. Two criminal cases have been initiated into fraud under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Fraud committed by an organized group on an especially large scale").
