The son of actor Vsevolod Shilovsky commented on his father's death for the first time.

People's Artist of the Russian Federation, theater and film actor, director Vsevolod Shilovsky went on stage to the last, which gave him strength in the fight against the disease. This was stated by his son Pavel Shilovsky in an interview with Izvestia on November 26, commenting on his father's death for the first time.

"About fifteen years ago, he (my father. — Ed.) there was a disease, but it was successfully stopped. And six months ago, serious health problems arose again: oncology, then jaundice. But until the last one, he went on stage. It gave him strength—it kept him going for a while. But then the body couldn't stand it anymore. I'm just tired of fighting. Dad went on stage, even though it was very hard for him at the time. But even his ten-minute monologue was well read. No one could have imagined that he was giving up," Pavel said.

According to his son, the actor lived an interesting, eventful and beautiful life. Pavel called him a responsible father who always gave correct life instructions. In addition, Shilovsky was an excellent teacher, he noted.

"His artists, his students, were like his own children to him. Anyway, he put the acting profession above all else. Perhaps the happiest years for him were those of teaching. Then he literally bathed in this energy, passed on knowledge and experience to his students. He really had something to convey. And we see the result in how many students he has educated. It is pleasant and very revealing," Pavel emphasized.
