US President Donald Trump continues to seek an end to the conflict in Ukraine. This was announced on November 24 at the White House, commenting on the results of consultations between the American and Ukrainian delegations in Geneva.

"They (Secretary of State Marco Rubio and his team. They stressed that this work is dictated by President Trump's desire to end the conflict that claimed the lives of millions of people and prevent further losses through lasting and achievable peace," the White House said in a statement.

On November 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Moscow had received a 28-point plan from Washington, which, according to him, could be used "as the basis for a final peaceful settlement." Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the decision-making space for Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky is shrinking. According to him, the rejection of a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian crisis and the continuation of a special military operation (SVO) are "senseless and dangerous" for Ukraine.

Rubio also called the negotiations on the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine in Geneva the most productive of all time on November 23. He clarified that it is too early to make public the results of the negotiations on Ukraine — discussions are still underway, and changes may be made to the text itself in the coming days. He also indicated that the American side understands the Russian side.
