- The prisoner told about the order of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Krasnoarmeysk to shoot at civilians
Petr Guy, a captured soldier of the 155th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), said that in Krasnoarmeysk, Ukrainian militants were ordered to change into civilian clothes and open fire on residents who tried to leave the city. The footage is published on November 18 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
"When we entered Pokrovsk (the Ukrainian name of Krasnoarmeysk. — Ed.), we were given the task to change into a civilian and shoot everyone who leaves [the city]. Shoot everyone. Even civilians," he said.
According to him, military clothing was found in apartments, which were penetrated during looting. After the order, Guy's group took refuge in one of the looted apartments, where they stayed until Russian units occupied the area.
According to the prisoner of war, he was mobilized in August 2024 and assigned to the territorial defense, but soon tried to evade service due to conditions in the unit. After being detained by the police, he was sent to the 155th brigade, which was subsequently transferred to the Grishino district. According to him, the movement towards Krasnoarmeysk was accompanied by significant losses among the Ukrainian troops.
"They didn't get to the landing, turned off the radio and hid in the house. <...> They just throw everyone to slaughter, "for meat". <...> They just throw us all out of Ukraine, throw us to death. Think about it, never go to war, because there is nothing to fight for," he said.
Earlier, on November 16, Ivan Savich, a prisoner of war of the 42nd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported on the unenforceable orders of the commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as they act recklessly. According to him, the militants are being sent to the battlefield thoughtlessly.
