Dealers predicted a decline in the Russian car market in November

This opinion was shared by Nikolai Ivanov, Director of the New Car Sales Department at Rolf.
"We associate this, among other things, with the holidays. People from the megacities where our dealerships are represented went away for short vacations. In November, there will still be a fairly active sales phase against the background of changes in the mechanics of calculating scrap for cars over 160 hp from December 1," the Autostat agency quoted Ivanov as saying on November 17.
According to Andrey Olkhovsky, CEO of Avtodom Group, sales in November will be slightly lower than in October, unless other announcements from the regulator occur. November started quite calmly on the Russian car market, and customer activity decreased somewhat.
The revival of sales, if it happens, will not happen before the spring of 2026, believes Andrey Terlyukevich, CEO of Avtospeccenter Group, who estimated the November market at 140-150 thousand cars. As Roman Slutsky, CEO of Alarm-Motors Group, pointed out, the factors influencing demand in October remained, but the excitement subsided a little, and the availability of cars at dealers dropped significantly. According to his estimates, in November sales will decrease to 125-135 thousand cars.
Earlier, on November 16, it was reported that in the first half of November 2025, prices for new cars on the Russian market changed. Ten brands have increased prices for individual models, one has decreased, and another has experienced both price increases and price decreases.
