A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. The enemy's manpower and equipment were also defeated in a number of settlements of the DPR and the Kharkiv region. In total, in the area of responsibility of the Zapad group of forces, enemy losses amounted to up to 230 military personnel, five armored combat vehicles, 19 vehicles, a Romanian-made ARR-40 multiple rocket launcher, two artillery pieces, including a 155-mm Paladin self-propelled artillery system manufactured by the United States. Four ammunition depots, the Plastun electronic reconnaissance station and four electronic warfare stations were destroyed.

The southern group of troops occupied more advantageous positions and defeated the enemy in the areas of the DPR settlements. The enemy's losses amounted to up to 80 militants, two armored combat vehicles, 19 vehicles, four field artillery guns, two electronic warfare stations, two ammunition depots and a material depot.

Units of the Center group of forces continued to advance into the depth of the enemy's defenses and defeated the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a number of settlements of the DPR and the Dnipropetrovsk region. Russian military personnel continued to destroy the encircled enemy in Krasnoarmeysk in the DPR, and six counterattacks by the 425th Skala assault regiment were repelled. Russian Armed Forces stormtroopers continue their offensive in Dimitrov in the DPR. In total, in the area of responsibility of the Center group of forces, enemy losses amounted to up to 470 military personnel, two armored combat vehicles, four vehicles, a 155-mm M777 howitzer made in the USA and an electronic warfare station.

As a result of decisive actions, the Vostok group of troops liberated the village of Rovnopolye in the Zaporizhia region and defeated the enemy in a number of settlements in the Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost over 235 people, an armored personnel carrier, 14 vehicles, an artillery piece and two warehouses of materiel.

The military personnel of the Dnepr group of forces have completed the liberation of the village of Malaya Tokmachka, Zaporizhia region. The manpower and equipment of the heavy mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were defeated in the populated areas of the Zaporizhia region. Over 110 enemy soldiers, a tank, an armored combat vehicle, 14 vehicles, two field artillery guns, seven electronic warfare stations, two ammunition depots and a depot of materiel were destroyed.

Operational-tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed two launchers of the mobile coastal missile system "Neptun", a combat vehicle of the multiple launch rocket system HIMARS manufactured in the United States, damaged facilities of the fuel and energy complex, ensuring the functioning of enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, the assembly shop long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, temporary locations of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 141 districts.

Air defense systems shot down a guided aerial bomb, four US-made HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, two long-range guided missiles "Neptune" and 197 unmanned aerial vehicles.

According to the Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of the special military operation, 668 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 96,993 unmanned aerial vehicles, 636 anti-aircraft missile systems, 26056 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,613 multiple rocket launchers, 31340 field artillery guns and mortars, 46799 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
