The Russian military, liberating the village of Danilovka in the Dnipropetrovsk region, used various tricks. A fighter with the call sign Chukcha told about this on November 15.

According to a soldier with the call sign Chukcha, the crucial step was to cross the river in full gear in order to avoid long detours and preserve the strength of the assault groups.

"Danilovka was taken hard. So that the stormtroopers would not get exhausted on long detours, they decided to swim across the river in full gear, took boats with them, and prepared everything in advance. They worked in twos, in small groups, went around houses, took them in a ring," he is quoted as saying on the website of the Ministry of Defense.

Earlier that day, it was reported that Russian military personnel in the Special Military Operation Zone (SVO) tested the Boomerang FPV drone at a distance of 57 km, setting a new record for its combat use. It was clarified that such a significant range was made possible by the use of additional batteries on the devices and an enhanced communication system. Now the upgraded "Boomerangs" are beginning to enter the calculations of the UAVs of the Russian troops and are being tested in real conditions.
