The Speaker of the upper house of the Parliament of Tajikistan, Rustam Emomali, speaking at the meeting, proposed to nominate Matvienko to the post of Chairman of the Council again, noting her "tremendous political experience" and significant contribution to the development of interparliamentary cooperation within the CIS.
