Several people were injured in a fire at the Saratov hospital.

On November 13, a night fire broke out in the Saratov Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital, as a result of which several people were injured. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the prosecutor's office of the Saratov region.

The fire started at 02:32 local time (01:32 Moscow time) in three boxes on the second floor of the building. Thanks to the prompt actions of the staff and emergency services, the fire was localized, and all patients and medical staff were evacuated. The victims received the necessary medical assistance.

On behalf of the prosecutor of the Saratov region, Sergey Filipenko, the prosecutor of the Leninsky district of Saratov, Konstantin Baykulov, went to the scene of the incident. The Prosecutor's Office organized an inspection to establish the causes and conditions that contributed to the fire, as well as to assess compliance with fire safety legislation.
