A fire broke out in an infectious diseases hospital in Saratov
A fire broke out at the N. R. Ivanov Infectious Diseases Hospital in Saratov on the night of November 13. This was reported in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Saratov region.
The fire occurred in one of the buildings on the second floor of a building located on Moskovskoye Highway. The fire alarm was received by emergency services at 02:32 local time (01:32 Moscow time).
"A fire in the box of one of the buildings on the second floor. The fire has been extinguished. Patients and medical staff have been evacuated from the building," the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on its Telegram channel.
The causes of the fire are being determined.
Earlier, on November 12, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported a large fire in Orenburg, where the roof of a residential apartment building with an area of 1.4 thousand square meters caught fire. As a result, one person was injured, 220 residents, including 48 children, were evacuated. The causes of the fire are also being investigated.
