The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the repulse of the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces regiment "Skala" near Krasnoarmeysk

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have deployed the Skala assault regiment to break through the cauldron near Krasnoarmeysk. This was announced on November 12 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"Nine attacks by the 32nd mechanized brigade and the 425th Skala assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Grishino settlement area of the Donetsk People's Republic were repelled, including by armored vehicles, in order to unblock the encircled group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

It is noted that the Russian army hit 17 units of enemy military equipment, and also destroyed about 40 military personnel. In addition, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to conduct active offensive operations in Krasnoarmeysk.

The day before, the Russian Armed Forces stopped an attempt to break out of the encirclement of a group of Ukrainian servicemen in the direction of the settlement of Novoeconomichoe in the DPR. According to the ministry, in the area of Krasnoarmeysk, assault units of the 2nd army continue active offensive operations in the northwestern and eastern quarters of the Central District, as well as in the territory of the railway station depot.

Prior to that, on November 10, the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, said that some soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were trying to leave the surrounded settlements, changing into civilian clothes.
