Svetlana Razvorotneva, Deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Communal Services, spoke on Tuesday, November 11, about cases when the tenant or the owner of the apartment can be evicted from the apartment.

"The only case when an employer can be evicted from his home is if the requirements for the use of residential premises are not met. As a rule, we are talking about the damage to this room, its maintenance in inadequate sanitary condition, unpaid payments for housing and communal services," the parliamentarian explained in an interview with aif.ru .

According to the deputy, the courts very rarely decide on the eviction of employers.

"This is due, among other things, to the fact that local governments still have the obligation in this case to provide some kind of housing in a maneuverable fund. As a rule, we do not have a maneuverable fund in municipalities," said Razvorotneva.

The politician stressed that administrative offenses, such as violating public order and the law on silence, are followed by administrative penalties, fines or administrative arrest.

The owner can be evicted from his home only for accumulated debts for housing and communal services, and if this is not the only housing. You can lose your only home in Russia only if it is mortgaged, and the mortgage is not being paid, as well as if the fact of redevelopment has been established and the owner has not returned the apartment to its original appearance.

Earlier, on November 9, a Moscow court granted a claim for the eviction of environmental activist Evgenia Chirikova (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation, listed as a terrorist and extremist) from an apartment in Moscow. 360.ru .

The court found Chirikova to have lost the right to use the apartment because she had not lived in it for more than 10 years, had not paid for utilities and had not attempted to move in, according to the website. kp.ru . Earlier, in 2018, the eco-activist transferred her share in the apartment to one of the plaintiffs under a donation agreement, RT reports.

The court's decision has not yet entered into force, writes RIAMO.
