The most demanded used cars in October are named
In October 2025, compared with September, the demand for used cars increased by almost 4%, and some models became more in demand by more than 10%. Lada, Toyota, Hyundai, Kia and Volkswagen cars were the most popular, Avito Auto experts told Izvestia on November 11.
Lada Priora and Granta, Hyundai Solaris, Toyota Camry and Kia Rio were among the most popular models in the middle of autumn. The top 10 also includes Ford Focus, Lada Kalina and 2114 Samara, Lada 4x4 (Niva) and Vesta.
The leaders in demand growth were Mazda (+7.9%), Kia and Hyundai (+7.2%), as well as Renault and Mercedes-Benz (+6% each). The top five models were Kia Sportage (+12.5%), Hyundai Solaris (+9.3%), Toyota Camry (+8.7%), Mercedes-Benz E-Class (+8.3%) and Kia Rio (+7.7%).
Compared to the beginning of the year, demand in the secondary market also showed a slight increase, but some cars have become much more in demand. Kia (+20.9%), Hyundai (+17.1%), Mazda (+13%), Renault (+10.3%) and BMW (+7.7%) cars became noticeably more interested. Kia Sportage (+24.2%), Hyundai Solaris (+22.8%), Kia Rio (+20.4%), Lada Largus (+16.5%), Toyota RAV4 (+15.2%), Volkswagen Polo (+14.3%) and Toyota Camry (+12.7%) became more popular among certain models.
"We are recording positive dynamics in the secondary market this fall: the market is gradually coming to life. Demand for cars grew the most from Korea (+14.4% compared to September) and Japan (+13.9%). And the demand for used Chinese cars is now one and a half times higher than at the beginning of the year," said Andrey Kovalev, director of the Used Cars department at Avito.
Earlier, on November 6, it was reported that 59.9 thousand used cars were imported to Russia in October. This is a record figure for the entire history of import monitoring, that is, for the last at least 25 years.
