Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico announced on November 9 that a train collision between the cities of Pezinok and Bratislava requires a thorough investigation.

"This tragic accident will require a thorough investigation after the rescue is completed, whether it was a technical malfunction or a human factor," he said in a message on the Facebook social network (banned in Russia, owned by Meta Corporation, recognized in Russia as extremist).

Earlier in the day, it was reported that two trains collided on the railway between the cities of Pezinok and Bratislava in Slovakia, injuring at least 30 people. Witnesses interviewed by the publication note that before the "terrible impact" the train braked sharply, and after the collision, those passengers with medical education were urged to come to the front of the train, probably to provide first aid.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
