More than half of the UK citizens surveyed by the Opinium marketing research and analysis agency want Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Finance Minister Rachel Reeves to resign. This is evidenced on November 8 by the corresponding graphs posted on the company's page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

According to them, 56% of the survey participants supported the resignation of the prime minister, and another 57% supported the resignation of the finance minister. At the same time, 19% of respondents found it difficult to answer the question in the first case and 24% in the second.

At the same time, 26% of respondents opposed Starmer's resignation, and another 19% opposed Reeves' resignation.

The survey, which was attended by just over 2,000 people, took place from Wednesday, November 5, to Friday, November 7.

A poll conducted by LabourList on September 28 revealed the reluctance of more than half of the Labor Party members to run for Starmer in the next election as party leader. It was noted that 53% of the total number of respondents want to see a new leader by the next election.

On November 9, Izvestia published footage of the traditional British Bonfire Night in Edenbridge, which turned into a protest against the "failed government policy." During the festivities, residents burned an effigy of Starmer. As noted by journalist Anna Zhikhareva, it was placed next to another figure — the conspirator Guy Fawkes, who tried to blow up parliament 420 years ago.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
