The SFR announced the average size of the old-age pension in 2025

The average old-age pension in Russia amounted to almost 25.2 thousand rubles as of October 1 of this year. This was confirmed on November 8 by data from the Social Fund of the Russian Federation.

So, according to the documents reviewed by RIA Novosti, the average amount of monthly old-age payments was 25198.92 rubles, while at the beginning of 2025 this figure was 24979.27 rubles.

The report of the Social Fund emphasizes that, at the same time, working pensioners receive an average old-age pension in the amount of 22378.72 rubles.

Ekaterina Stenyakina, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor and Social Policy, reported on November 6 that by the beginning of 2026, the average monthly payment of an old-age insurance pension for citizens who have stopped working would amount to over 27 thousand rubles. According to her, this increase is predicted after the indexation by 7.6%, which in turn is expected on January 1.
