In the Admiralteysky district of St. Petersburg, a partial collapse of an uninhabited apartment building occurred, which was built in the early 20th century by architect Marian Lyalevich. This was announced on November 7 by a source of Izvestia.

"Ceilings and a wall collapsed in one of the buildings of the house on Rosenstein Street. Structures from the sixth to the first floor were damaged," the source said.

At the same time, the further threat of its collapse remains. According to preliminary information, several rooms for permanent residence were equipped inside the abandoned building, some had electricity.

An investigation is underway into the incident, and operational services are on site.

On October 24, it was reported that the ceiling collapsed at a school in the Trans-Baikal Territory, which was renovated two years ago. According to the prosecutor's office, a plaster layer collapsed from the ceiling in one of the classrooms. At that moment, there were eight schoolchildren and a teacher in the room, who led the children out of the classroom. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements").
