The Russian Embassy in the Philippines has not received information about the Russians affected by typhoon Kalmaegi. This was announced on November 7 at the diplomatic mission.

"Information about the injured Russians was not provided to us," RIA Novosti quoted the text of the embassy's statement.

GMA Integrated News, citing data from the Office of Civil Defense (OCD), reported on November 6 that the death toll from typhoon Kalmaegi in the Philippines had increased to 114 people. According to OCD deputy spokesman Diego Mariano, 127 people were reported missing and 82 people were injured.

On the same day, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences to Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos in connection with the victims and destruction caused by the typhoon.
