43 kg of narcotic drugs were seized from a man in Primorye.
In Primorsky Krai, employees of the drug control department seized 43 kg of marijuana from a local resident, who faces up to 10 years in prison. This was reported on November 6 in the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
"During the operational search activities, employees of the drug control department found and seized narcotic drugs of plant origin in the house of a 46-year-old resident of the village of Roshchino," the department's Telegram channel said.
It is specified that the investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Dalnerechenskiy" opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal acquisition, storage, transportation, manufacture, processing of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues, committed on a large scale").
On October 25, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Amur Region reported that the police had stopped drug trafficking and seized 125 kg of marijuana from a resident of the Amur region. It is specified that during the search, the police also found items allegedly used for the manufacture or storage of drugs: tiles, cans and precursors.
