In the USA, in Kentucky, on the eve of Halloween, instead of medicines, a girl was given parts of a human hand. This was reported on November 3 by the Fox 56 television station, citing the words of Christian State Coroner Scott Daniel.
It later turned out that the body parts that the girl received by mistake were intended for surgical training, not for transplantation.
"A Hopkinsville resident opened the box — it was assumed that there were some urgent medicines there - and when she opened the box, she found human hands and fingers," the article says.
According to Daniel, the girl was shocked by the package. Later, the body parts were taken to the morgue, and the police contacted the carrier to arrange for the parcel to be delivered to its destination.
The Sun newspaper reported on October 31 that more than 300 human remains of unknown origin had been found in the desert of the US state of Nevada. It was clarified that there was no identifying information on the remains.
