Fog and reduced visibility are expected in Moscow and the Moscow region on the night of November 2. This was reported on November 1 in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the region.

"In the period from 20:00 hours on November 1 to 10:00 hours on November 2, fog is expected in places on the territory of Moscow with a decrease in visibility of 200-700 m," the department's Telegram channel says.

Residents were reminded of safety measures in case of fog, in particular, to be extremely careful, wear reflective elements, and cross the roadway only at a pedestrian crossing.

The drivers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were advised to observe the speed limit, as well as slow down near schools and kindergartens.

Earlier in the day, a "yellow" weather hazard level was declared in Moscow and the Moscow region for Sunday evening, night and morning due to the expected fog. Meteorologists expect cloudy weather with occasional clearings and no precipitation. At night, the temperature in the capital will be from 2 to 4 degrees above zero, and in the Moscow region — from 0 to 5 degrees. On Sunday afternoon, the temperature in the capital will rise to 7 degrees, and in the region — up to 8 degrees. South-easterly and southerly winds with a speed of 3-8 m/s are expected.
