Russians who own land, real estate, or transport are required to pay property taxes for 2024 by December 1, 2025. Thus, there is a month left to pay, tax consultant Oksana Mucharaeva reported on November 1.

"Taxes for 2024 must be paid by December 1, 2025. To do this, individuals do not need to file a tax return: the tax inspectorate itself will calculate the amount of tax and send a notification," she recalled in an interview with RIA Novosti.

The Federal Tax Service sends notifications in paper form or to your personal account on the Gosuslugi portal. They indicate transport, land, property taxes, as well as personal income tax on income that was not withheld earlier. The amount of tax may vary by region and depend on the cadastral value of the property or the availability of benefits.

"There are several ways to pay taxes. For example, through a personal account on the website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia or in the mobile application Taxes FL, as well as through a personal account on public services," Mucharaeva said.

In addition, citizens who have received interest on bank deposits over 210 thousand rubles will need to pay personal income tax on the excess amount also before December 1.
