Corporal Lyashenko evacuated a wounded soldier on an ATV
Corporal Daniil Lyashenko was given the task of evacuating a wounded Russian serviceman from the front line. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the special military operation zone on Friday, October 31.
Despite the ongoing shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Lyashenko moved to his destination immediately. He decided to use an ATV for ease of movement and evacuation. Upon reaching the target, the corporal dismounted and headed towards the victim, but at that moment the Ukrainian Armed Forces opened mortar fire and sent unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) into the forest. Lyashenko decided to divert enemy fire on himself and ran out of the forest plantation. He managed to shoot down an enemy drone, after which the corporal returned to the wounded man and helped him board a transport. The evacuation was carried out successfully.
The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the professionalism and determination of Corporal Islam Aukhadulin, who delivered provisions to the front lines of the Russian troops.
On the way, his car was attacked by the AFU FPV drones. In addition, the enemy opened mortar fire. Aukhadulin began to maneuver skillfully, using the terrain to avoid the blows. As a result, he managed to reach the forest belt, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost sight of the vehicle. The corporal successfully delivered the cargo to the positions.
Earlier, on October 30, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Guard Private Dmitry Babushkin, as a tanker driver for a rocket artillery battery support platoon, was carrying out the task of refueling BM-21 Grad combat vehicles when he noticed an approaching enemy FPV drone. Instantly getting his bearings, he pulled out his standard-issue weapon, took aim and shot down the drone before it could attack.
