A member of the US House of Representatives from Nevada, Dina Tites, said she intends to prevent the implementation of the directive of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, on the resumption of nuclear testing. She wrote about this on October 29 on her page on the social network X.

"Absolutely not. I will introduce a bill to stop this," the congresswoman stressed, commenting on the statement of the American leader.

Tites noted that the tests could pose a threat to residents of Nevada, where one of the country's main nuclear test sites is located.
