Yuri Varakin, head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Situation Center, told what kind of weather is expected in Moscow at the end of October.
In an interview with Radio 1 on Wednesday, October 29, he noted that typical autumn weather without sun will remain in Moscow and the region until the end of October. He noted that the temperature will be 4-5 degrees above normal, although a slight cold snap is expected in early November.
According to him, in the last days of the month, the air will warm up to +6...+8 degrees, it will rain, and October 31st will be the rainiest day. Frosts are not predicted yet, but the forecaster advised drivers to change tires already, as the average daily temperature dropped below +6 degrees.
Earlier on October 29, Tatyana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonosti news agency, said that warm weather would remain in the capital from November 1 to November 5.
