SVR announced the accelerated creation of additional beds in French hospitals
In France, new places are being created at an accelerated pace in hospitals that are designed to accommodate the wounded. This was announced on October 28 by the press bureau of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) of the Russian Federation.
"In France, hundreds of additional beds are being created at an accelerated pace in hospitals to receive the wounded. French doctors are undergoing special medical training to work in the field," the ministry said in a statement.
The document notes that French President Emmanuel Macron is seriously considering the possibility of military intervention in the Ukrainian conflict.
On the same day, the SVR said that Macron had issued an order to deploy a French military contingent of up to 2,000 troops in the military conflict zone in Ukraine. The text of the document states that the French leader hopes to go down in history as a commander, as he led his country to a socio-economic crisis.
Later, Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president, called the information about the deployment of a military contingent in Ukraine alarming.
