In Primorye, eight people were injured in an accident.
A traffic accident involving a passenger bus occurred in Primorsky Krai, as a result of which eight people, including a child, were injured. This was reported on October 28 in the regional traffic police department in the Telegram channel.
The incident happened at night on the 23rd km of the highway "Ussuriysk — Pogranichny — Gosgranitsa".
"According to preliminary data, it has been established that the 58-year—old KING LONG bus driver, moving from the village of Galenka in the direction of the village of Novonikolsk, did not choose a safe distance and collided with a MARKER TB 524 tractor with a trailer moving ahead," the press service of the department explained.
It was clarified that at the time of the accident, there were 25 passengers on the bus en route Vladivostok – Suifenhe.
As a result of the accident, the bus driver and seven passengers were injured — women aged 44, 55 and 69, two men aged 20 and 23, as well as an 11-year-old boy. All the injured received emergency treatment on the spot, after which they were sent for outpatient treatment.
An administrative case has been opened into the incident under Article 12.24 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. An inspection is currently underway, and a number of examinations have been appointed to establish all the circumstances of the accident.
Earlier, on October 27, it was reported that a criminal case had been opened into the deaths of two girls when they were hit by a car in the city of Revda, Sverdlovsk region. It is specified that the criminal case was initiated under Part 6 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules under the influence of alcohol, resulting in the death of two people"). The sanction of this article provides for up to 15 years of imprisonment for the driver.
