Fedorishchev promised to be polite to his subordinates for another ten days.
On October 27, the governor of the Samara Region, Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, at a meeting with members of the regional government, promised them to be polite to his subordinates for another ten days.
It is noted that the meeting considered the appeals of residents of the Samara region. So, a local resident from Tolyatti told the governor about the protracted repair of the roof leaking in the house, to which the deputy head of the Regional State Housing Inspectorate, Georgy Stepanyan, replied that this was not within the authority of his organization.
"I have ten more days in which I promised myself and my colleagues in the government that I would be polite enough. Including when I listen to such reports," Fedorishchev emphasized. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
Vitaly Brizhan, Minister of Energy and Housing and Communal Services, added that the roof will be repaired by the end of November, and a preliminary agreement has already been signed with the resident.
Earlier, on October 14, a video of Fedorishchev's emotional dialogue with the head of the Kinelsky district, Yuri Zhidkov, was posted online. The governor was dissatisfied with the progress of the repair work carried out at social infrastructure facilities, after which he slapped the official on the shoulder and, using profanity, said that he was fired. He later apologized for firing Zhidkov with obscene language.
It was noted that another reason for Zhidkov's dismissal was an improperly maintained stone erected in memory of the participants of the Great Patriotic War.
Later, on October 15, Zhidkov was hospitalized with a hypertensive crisis. He said that after his recovery he would write a letter of resignation. Zhidkov also confirmed that he is currently in the hospital.
