JAXA launched the HTV-X1 spacecraft
The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) has successfully launched the HTV-X1 spacecraft into orbit using an H3-24 heavy launch vehicle. This became known on October 26 from the broadcast of the launch on the agency's YouTube channel.
The launch was carried out from the center on the island of Tanegashima in Japan. The purpose of the spacecraft's flight is to deliver cargo to the International Space Station (ISS).
According to the aerospace Agency, the ship has now set course for the ISS, where it will deliver several tons of cargo, including food and equipment.
Earlier, on October 14, it was reported that the American company SpaceX conducted the 11th test launch of the prototype Starship spacecraft. The launch vehicle was carried out from the Starbase spaceport in Texas.
