Bloomberg has learned about the preparation in Italy of the next package of military aid to Ukraine

Italy is preparing the 12th military aid package for Ukraine, which will focus on strengthening air defense systems. This was reported by Bloomberg on October 24, citing sources.

According to sources, the dispatch of military aid may take place before the end of 2025 and will include several SAMP/T air defense systems and ammunition for them and previously supplied installations.

It is noted that this step demonstrates Rome's commitment to supporting Kiev, despite its limited financial and military capabilities.

At the same time, Italy may also join the NATO PURL initiative (English: Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List, a list of Ukraine's priority requirements).
