The Russia-US summit in Hungary has not been removed from the agenda and will definitely take place in the future. This was announced on October 24 by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on Radio Kossuth.

"Here in Europe, they know for sure that the peace summit has not been removed from the agenda. It will not take place in a week, the date is questionable, but there is no doubt that it will be," he said.

According to the Prime Minister, European leaders know that the Russians will come to an agreement with the Americans about negotiations between the countries.

On October 23, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that the idea of holding a summit between Russia and the United States in Budapest was proposed by the American side, and explained the words of his American counterpart Donald Trump about the summit by the desire to postpone the meeting.

At the same time, White House press Secretary Caroline Leavitt said that the meeting between the two leaders had not been completely removed from the agenda, but it needed to produce a positive result.

On October 16, Trump announced a meeting with Putin, which was to take place in Budapest this week. However, on October 22, the American leader said that the planned negotiations would not take place, as it was "not the right moment" for them.
