Sales of new motorcycles increased in Russia

In September, 4,027 new motorcycles were registered in Russia, which is 26.4% more than in the same period last year. This was reported to Izvestia on October 23 by the analytical agency Autostat.

The Russian brand Regulmoto became the leader in September, selling 641 motorcycles, plus 19.4% by September 2024. The Chinese brand Voge is in second place with 323 motorcycles (+53.8%), and another Russian brand Motoland is in third place with 318 motorcycles (-12.4%). The top 10 popular motorcycle brands in September also included Racer, Kayo, Bajaj, Zontes, Honda, Ataki and Rockot.

The most popular motorcycles were the Motoland XF300 (256 units, +32%), Racer RC300 (133 units, -13.6%) and Voge DS (116 units, +136.7%).

In the first nine months of 2025, 46,099 motorcycles were registered, which is 17.6% more than in the same period last year.

More than half of the bikes imported into the country were not registered.

Earlier, the Moscow Department of Transport reported that in 10 years the number of motorcycle accidents in Moscow has decreased by 15%. The main cause of such accidents is traffic violations. In 2025, accidents most often occurred due to non-compliance with the order of travel, violations of the rules of lane change and speeding.
