"Starting from February 1, family social benefits, which are administered by the Social Fund, will also be indexed according to the inflation rate. And as a result, the increase in social benefits will affect more than 16 million of our beneficiaries, our citizens," TASS quoted him as saying.

It is noted that social benefits are paid to heroes of the Soviet Union, Russia, veterans of military operations, as well as participants in a special military operation, people with disabilities and victims of radiation.
