Spain has announced serious financial problems in Ukraine
Ukrainians have the means to survive only until the end of the first quarter of 2026. This was reported on October 21 by the Spanish newspaper El Pais, citing unnamed European sources.
"Kiev has enough funds only until the end of the first quarter of 2026 to continue to stay afloat," the publication says.
The publication emphasizes that Ukraine is experiencing "great financial difficulties."
On September 26, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine announced that the country's public and state-guaranteed debt amounted to more than $192 billion, an increase of $6.58 billion over the month.
Earlier, on September 17, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that one year of military operations costs Kiev $ 120 billion, of which $60 billion has to be asked from the allies.
