Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on October 21 that since 2014 she has been doing everything possible to support and promote Russian manufacturers' products.

At the same time, the diplomat added that she is not a manufacturing person and she does not have great opportunities. However, despite this, Zakharova decided to provide assistance to manufacturers.

"Since 2014, it has been my fundamental choice to wear ours, to show ours, to do everything possible <...> to use any opportunities — microscopic, what there are, big, different, in order to help ours," she said at the International Export Forum "Made in Russia".

Zakharova noted that when the "terrible" imposition of sanctions began in 2014, she realized the need to support domestic production and use all available opportunities for this.
