The Usoltsev family, who disappeared in the taiga of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, could have fled to Mongolia. This opinion was shared on October 17 by Siberian blogger Alexander Andryushenkov, who participated in the search for tourists.
"Sergey (the father of the missing family. He knew the area very well, he could follow a hiking trail, and then turn off it and go through the forest to the nearest road. On September 28, the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Krasnoyarsk Territory reported the disappearance of the Usoltsev family, consisting of a man and a woman born in 1961 and 1977, respectively, as well as their five-year-old child, in a wooded area near the Minsk Loop. The family was moving towards Mount Pinocchio, but after five days of no contact with their relatives, their whereabouts were not found out.
Oksana Zhdanyuk, a friend of the missing Irina Usoltseva, told Izvestia on October 2 that the family had not disclosed the details of the planned walk, but most likely they had changed their route.
According to one of the versions put forward by representatives of the Main Investigative Directorate (GSO) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia on October 3, the man could have become ill, and the woman and child could not get out of the taiga on their own.
