- The head of the Kinelsky district, Zhidkov, announced plans to write a letter of resignation.
The head of the Kinelsky district of the Samara region, Yuri Zhidkov, who was rudely offered to resign by Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, said on October 15 that he would write a statement after recovery.
He also confirmed that he is currently in the hospital.
"I acted according to the approved plan, systematically developing the territory entrusted to me — the decision was unexpected for me and, frankly, emotionally difficult. I am currently in the hospital recovering my health. After recovery, I intend to write a letter of resignation," Zhidkov wrote on his Telegram channel.
On Tuesday, October 14, a video of the emotional dialogue between Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, the head of the Samara Region, and an official was posted online. The governor was dissatisfied with the progress of the repair work carried out at social infrastructure facilities, after which he slapped the official on the shoulder and, using profanity, said that he was fired.
Later it became known that another of the reasons for Zhidkov's dismissal was an improperly maintained stone erected in memory of the participants of the Great Patriotic War.
