The media learned about Pakistan's takeover of 19 Afghan border posts
Pakistani soldiers have taken control of 19 border posts located on the border with Afghanistan. This was reported on October 12 by the Geo News news channel, citing security sources.
"The Pakistani Army early on Sunday morning (October 12. — Ed.) retaliated after Afghan troops opened fire on several border posts, <...>..> capturing 19 (posts. — Ed.)," the publication says.
It is clarified that during this operation, which, as it is emphasized, was directed not against the Afghan people, but against people from banned groups, dozens of militants were eliminated, as well as their training centers.
The TOLOnews news portal reported on October 11 that the Afghan Air Force, using Super Tucano fighter jets, carried out an airstrike on the city of Lahore in Pakistan.
