The leader of the Pakistani Taliban, Nur Wali Mahsud, also known as Abu Mansour Asim, died at the age of 47 as a result of an attack on his SUV. This was announced on the evening of October 9 by the Amu TV channel, citing sources.
"Nur Wali Mehsud, the leader of the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) movement, was killed in a strike in Kabul on Thursday evening (October 9. — Ed.)," the publication says.
It is specified that the incident recorded in Abdulhak Square, regarded by the main representative of the movement Zabihullah Mujahid as a terrorist attack, probably occurred against the background of the visit of the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban, Amir Khan Muttaki, to India for negotiations.
On June 14, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the death of the deputy head of the intelligence department of the Iranian Aerospace Forces, Brigadier General Khosrow Hassani, as a result of a terrorist attack.
