In September of this year, the average price of used Chinese cars in Russia decreased by 13.1% compared to the first month of last autumn and amounted to 2 million rubles. This was announced on October 9 in its Telegram channel by the National Agency for Industrial Information (NAPI).

The increase in the average price of Chinese passenger cars over the same period was more significant and amounted to 58.4%, and for used copies — by 159.3%, the NAPI indicated.
Prior to that, on October 8, Autostat reported that the average price of a used passenger car in Russia dropped below 1.4 million rubles for the first time in a long time. As the analysts explained, the decrease in prices for used cars is largely due to an increase in their supply (the number of ads for sale).
On October 7, it became known that in the third quarter of 2025, the average price of a new car in Russia decreased by 3% compared to January –March and amounted to 2.83 million rubles. Experts noted that the prerequisites for a smooth increase in demand were a moderate reduction in the key rate, as well as discounts and special offers from dealers who sell off the accumulated remnants of last year.
