French President Emmanuel Macron's rating has dropped to 14% amid the country's political crisis, which has become an anti-record for him. This was reported on October 8 by the French newspaper Les Echos, citing a survey by Elabe.

According to the Elabe barometer, only 14% of French people trust the current president in effectively solving the country's problems. In two months, Macron's rating has fallen by 7 points, and since March 2025 — by 13. This was the lowest approval rating of his entire career.

"This is no longer a crisis of unpopularity, but a crisis of hostility," Elabe President Bernard Sananes commented on the rating.

It is clarified that only 38% of voters in the first round of the 2022 presidential election and only 28% of the second round continue to support Macron.

On October 7, Mathilde Pano, the leader of the parliamentary faction of the Rebellious France party, proposed to begin the impeachment procedure of the French leader. She noted that 70% of French citizens support Macron's departure from the presidency.
