Mass demonstration in support of Palestine took place in Amsterdam
A demonstration was held in Amsterdam against the government's position towards Israel. It was attended by at least 250 thousand people. This was announced on October 5 by the Netherlands Broadcasting Corporation (NOS).
"In Amsterdam, for the third time, a massive Red Line protest was held against the government's position on Israel. According to the organization, at least 250,000 people were present this time," the publication says.
It is noted that the protesters were dressed in red clothes and demanded that the Dutch government confront Israel in order to "stop the genocide in Gaza."
According to one of the demonstrators, the Netherlands is a major investor in Israel, so residents "need to send a signal" to the government that will influence the situation.
The day before, the Ministry of Health of the Gaza Strip reported that 66 people were killed and 265 injured as a result of Israeli attacks on the enclave over the past day. It is noted that some of the victims remained under the rubble, doctors were trying to get to them.
