The ANO movement ("Action of Dissatisfied Citizens"), led by former Czech Prime Minister Andrei Babis, won the parliamentary elections in the country by 99.55% of polling stations. This was reported by the CTK news agency on October 4.

It is noted that outgoing Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala congratulated the representatives of the ANO.

"Peter Fiala, the outgoing Prime Minister and leader of the Spolu coalition, congratulated Andrei Babish's ANO movement on his election victory. According to him, it will not be possible to form a government on the current floor plan," the publication says.

Fiala also stated that he respects the election results and thanked the voters of his Spolu party.

The ANO won 34.69% of the vote in the election. This is followed by the parties Spolu (23.25%) and STAN (11.8%). The voter turnout in the Czech Republic was 68.9%. Candidates from the Stacilo coalition! ("Enough is enough!"), which includes Social Democrats and Communists, could not overcome the electoral barrier, the Denik portal writes.

The final day of voting in the election of the new composition of the Chamber of Deputies (lower house) of parliament started in the Czech Republic earlier in the day. Polling stations opened after a night break at 08:00 (9:00 Moscow time). According to the Constitution of the Republic, voting takes place in two days.
